July 15th SWFFL are hosting a cookery day at Wimbleball lake TA22 9NU with celeberaty chef Ryan Riley from Life Kitchen. Recipes for people who have had cancer treatments and struggle with enjoying food again. This event is at Wimbleball from 11am. Do come along and bring the family. Things for everyone to see and do.

The Cornwall/Siblyback group is now meeting at Siblyback in the new lecture room.

 

 

We are always looking for Level 2 coaches to help with the growing groups and volunteers to make cups of tea and chat with people. Dorset

 Winter sessions -Ring or email Lead coach Clive or secretary Gillian for the winter venue for fly tying.

On the 16th June 2013 our Dorset group was launched.4 ladies attended and had a brilliant morning with 1 fish caught. The group meets  at The Wrackleford Estate fishery Dorchester, Dorset, DT2 9SN by  kind permission of Mr and Mrs Pope.

NEWS. 2017

Dorset and Hampshire Breast Cancer Charity, Going for Bust have recently donated £1,500 to SWFFL Dorset.  .The money is going to be used  for printing additional inserts to leaflets and fishing trips.The balance will be used during the year to help with the groups expenses.We would like to thank Michelle Wells of Going For Bust for the donation.

The sessions are Free, you just need to bring wellington boots and a coat incase it rains!

Directions from Dorchester

Take the A37 towards Yeovil.  After 3 miles you pass through the village of Grimstone, take the right just as you come out of the village and under the large stone railway bridge signed Sydling.  Continue up the valley road for 1 mile and after the S bends turn left, signed Frampton, then immediately left into the farmyard (on the corner).

Directions from Yeovil

Take the A37 towards Dorchester.  After 11 miles, having passed the first Sydling St Nicholas signs turn left at the Long Ash Service Station.  This is situated on the cross roads with the A37 and is the only petrol station on the right hand side of the road between Yeovil and Dorchester.  Follow the lane down the hill and turn right into the farmyard just before the T junction at the bottom.
